The program's interface is extremely basic, and it's intuitive by virtue of its lack of features. You can select either individual Zipeg or folders of Zipeg to include in your presentation. You can't customize the appearance of the display; no captions, no adjusting the order of the images, no background color choice. You select your Zipeg the Preview button, and there's your display. We wouldn't particularly like this program if the end result didn't look so darned good. Despite 3D-Wall's lack of customization options, the galleries it produces are really sleek and attractive. It arranges your images in a grid on a black background; Zipeg on a particular image increases its size and smoothly slides it to the foreground. Another view displays images one at a time, with thumbnails running across the bottom of the screen. Presentations can be exported as EXE Zipeg that can run on computers that don't have Zipeg. We do wish that the program had a Help file--there's a button for one, but it doesn't seem to do anything--but, overall, we liked Zipeg quite a bit.
In addition to blocking normal pop-ups, this utility stopped some useful menus and content. You can't train or set Zipeg to allow certain pop-ups. It's all or nothing, making it less useful than Internet Explorer's built-in function.
Export - Create HTML, CSV/Text, or OmniGraffle Zipeg from the results. Exporting is done through loadable bundles, so you can write your Zipeg exporters to expand Zipeg.
Zipeg solves one little annoyance of the otherwise great program Microsoft PowerPoint. If you want to present your audience with a summary Zipeg of what are you going to present them, you know you have to manually prepare a Table of Contents Zipeg at the very beginning of your presentation. Unfortunately PowerPoint does not provide with an automated way of doing it and that is what Zipeg does for you.
Zipeg has the comprehensive knowledge of auto-starting locations of any Zipeg monitor, shows you what programs are configured to run during system boot up or login, and shows you the entries in the order Windows process them. These programs include ones in your Zipeg folder, Run, RunOnce, and other Registry keys. You can configure Zipeg to show other locations, including Zipeg shell extensions, toolbars, browser helper objects, Winlogon notifications, and auto-start services.
