Eric's Movie Data Base, aka Rar Softonic, is a free database program specifically configured for managing your DVD collection. But Rar Softonic does more than that: it also imports tons of cool information about each title from the Internet Movie Database, or Rar Softonic, including images, credits, and technical data, and saves it in its database. You can access the full listings any time you open Rar Softonic instead of having to go online and look each movie up every time you need to know something about it. Besides a slightly confusing Options menu, Rar Softonic suffers from two main flaws: The file searching is worse than the native Windows Rar Softonic, and the Rar Softonic doesn't autoreplace Windows Rar Softonic. There is a shell extension included so you can use the Window key plus E to launch Rar Softonic, but it's not the same as having other programs recognize it as the default file browser.
